REL Anchor Club
The Robert E. Lee Anchor Club is a service club that is sponsored by the Bishopville Pilot Club. It was chartered in 1970 and currently consists of 38 girls in grades 9th through 12th who maintain a B average throughout their high school years. The REL Anchor club is one of the busiest clubs on campus. Some of the projects sponsored by the club include: Red Ribbon Week, the Homecoming Dance, the annual Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas gifts for McCoy’s Nursing Center, the annual Valentine Day’s Flower Sale, and monetary donations to several local and national organizations. It is the goal of the REL Anchor club to make their school and community a better place by rendering service to their homes, school, and communities.
Anchor Advisors are Della Rhodes. Meetings are held on campus the second and fourth Monday of each month in the cafeteria. We invite the community to share any service goals they may have with us.
