The Academic Booster Club is a volunteer group consisting of parents, grandparents, and teachers dedicated to supporting the academic needs of the school and enhancing the academic success and achievement for all students at REL.

Meeting Schedule

The ABC meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the library.

We would like to encourage all parents to attend the meetings and participate in REL functions. Your participation is a tremendous asset to the school so that our children receive the best possible education and personal experience.

Fundraisers

The Academic Booster Club has several fundraisers throughout the year. These include our Annual Auction, Cookie Dough sales, Sprit Wear sales, Santa Shop, and Mother's Day Sale. It is through these fundraisers that the Academic Booster Club is able to support various programs at REL. For example, the ABC fully funds the Accelerated Reader Program (AR). Support for this program includes purchasing library books, license fees, AR test, prizes and the annual FUN Day. Another great example of the ABC support is the recent library renovations. The ABC was able to renovate the library by providing computer stations, new work areas for the Library staff and new furniture. In addition, the ABC provides each teacher with $100.00 towards classroom supplies/resources.

 The 2009/2010 annual auction is scheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2010. Mark your calendars!

Santa Shop and Mother's Day Sale

REL students love to shop, especially for Christmas and Mother's Day. ABC has an annual Santa Shop, held in December, providing the students with an opportunity to buy gifts for their family and friends, At our Mother's Day Sale, held in May, the students can find that special gift for their mother, grandmother or special person. Gifts range from $1.00-$5.00. Both events are held in the Library.

Box Tops for Education

Clip those Box Tops and send them to the Library.! Last year REL earned over $1500.00 from Box Tops.
